Worth it July 18, 2010M. Molina (Costa Rica)
I investigated a little bit about security systems and this one was the one for me. I already installed the product but took me too much time to understand the manual in order to have the system installed properly. I think the manual can be better, and I think that is the worst part of the product. In some weeks I am going to install some wired triggers for the alarm that is actually one of the best features I found because allow me to create my own sensors and plug them as part of the "main alarm" system.
A friend of mine that is currently rebuilding her house saw the alarm on my living room and she inmediatly ask me several questions about it, now she wants to buy one and have me to install it. I explained her all the good features it has. Probably in US this security system is common, but I live in Central America and here is not that common, actually only few people have ADS at home, but with this system I don't pay any fees.
So, if you want to have a wireless security system, that calls you on any tamper or alarm event to your mobile with good signal for the keyfob and other sensors this is the one for you.
Great system at a great price June 26, 2010el smarchie
I bought this system in particular because of its ability to call multiple phone numbers in case the alarm is triggered. Some reviews were negative and some positive. I can say though, that my experience with the system has been positive. I found set up to be simple and that was possible with the included DVD. So far so good!

Easy set up, the tutorial dvd with Freddie was very very helpful, I referred to it several times as the written directions were complex until I watched Freddie. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. It will call my phone with in seconds of an alarm during the testing.
Good system for the money April 21, 2010Odie (GA, United States)

We use about 11 of these systems at rental properties as well as my private home and find it to be a good overall value for what it is.
The fact that it comes pre-programmed in the kit for quick install is also a definite plus.
The typical configuration we use is as follows:
-3 door sensors
-2 motion sensors
-External outdoor sensor to watch HVAC units and people exploring around. (the external unit is expensive, but worth it if you have expensive stuff in the back). It's been a great ROI for us.
Highlights of the system:
-Fairly easy to install, since it comes pre-programmed with sensors
-Lithium Batteries for wireless sensors (some use Sanyo and GP batteries)
-Decent feature set and you can mix with a few hardwired devices from older alarm systems to extend it at both the panel level and also door/window sensors. I haven't done this personally, but it's there for those interested. Unfortunately you share the zone on remote sensors.
-Manuals online and videos online as well...plus they include them just in case.
-Supports dual sirens
-Keyfobs
-Easily extensible
-Decent tech support/return policy (purchased from home security store).
-Only one bad external sensor out of 11 units...so far so good.
Lowlights of the system:
-Loud keypad and haven't found way to hush it up
-Manual is a bit confusing at times, yet amusing at some of their drawing they expect you to understand.
-GP Batteries, but they recommend Sanyo or Panasonic for UL installs. GP keeps cost lower and it's a decent battery for what it is. (We haven't replaced batteries in 18 months, so that's not a bad ROI)
-They make a killing on accessories, but I guess that's the norm for most alarm systems.
-Only sold through 3rd party, so you can't buy direct from manufacturer based in Israel. Not a big deal, but just an observation.
-Door/window sensors not aesthetically pleasing and look cheap, but they aren't.
-Buy a kit to save the most money, since accessories afterward are very pricey.
-Not pro grade, but hits the sweet spot.
-Only two hardwired zones off the panel.
-Doesn't include siren
